Only vessels register in accordance with the laws of the State of New York shall be permitted to berth at Cornhill Landing. Vessels not permitted to berth shall include, but not be limited to, those without proper insurance, registration, and applicable safety equipment according to the regulations of the United States Coast Guard.
The Harbor Master must be contacted upon arrival and shall have the responsibility for allocating berthing space to visiting yachtsmen. Subject to availability, berthing space shall be allotted on a first-come/first-serve basis. Reservations shall not be accepted for vessels other than commercial going vessels, with a minimum 48-hour advanced notice, including but not limited to the following:
Rafting shall be permitted only if additional vessels are instructed to raft by the Harbor Master on duty. Rafting vessels must have at least four (4) dock lines with a minimum of 2 fenders (one bowline, two spring lines, one stern line)
